ABOUT ABOUT

We welcome Shannon Frost, Marketing Associate with Jackson's own New Stage Theatre.  Shannon has a B.A. in Communication/Theatre from Malone University and a M. A. in Theatre from Regent University. Her Previous experience includes: theatre manager at Regent University’s Theatre Department, managing director for The A.C.T.S. Series at Regent University, marketing director at Red Clay Theatre, marketing director at New Stage Theatre, and theatre teacher at Christ Covenant School.

New Stage produces five plays each year in its subscription series, in addition to a Holiday show, an annual SchoolFest matinee, and a kids-only summer camp show that features local area talent. Main stage productions range from master works to contemporary classics to new plays. All carry the mark of professional quality for which the theatre has long been recognized. Mississippi audiences are bred on the rich literary heritage of the state – William Faulkner, Eudora Welty, Richard Wright – and they respond to the dramatic event that is rooted in the playwright’s words and vision. New Stage continues programming that nurtures the art of the dramatist and the present and future vitality of the American theatre.

THE WINGARD HOME

This is also our philanthropy luncheon where we will be bringing in all of our donations for The Wingard Home. A complete list of eligible items for donation is available on the AAF Jackson Facebook page. The more items a member donates, the more entries they will have for the drawing of the door prizes. You will not be eligible for door prizes at the luncheon unless you bring a donation.
All donated items will be presented to the Wingard Home on November 17th, 2016.
